New Bali Blinds Models For Summer 2009

Bali blinds are really setting trends in window treatments. An irrefutable proof to this statement is that the Bali diffusion blinds won the WCMA “Best New Style Concept” award, earlier this year. People in this industry know that the prizes awarded by the Window Covering Manufacturers Association, also known as WCMA, are the reference and set the standards of originality and quality of window treatments.

For 2009, the Horizontal Blinds category award for the Best New Style Concept went to Bali Diffusion 2” Glass Essence blinds. The biggest innovation Bali came with was the excellent light filtering control and privacy, combined with an outstanding look given by the embossed acrylic slats which imitate glass blocks. Thanks to this special material, when natural light changes, the light in the room will subtly change.

The colors and patterns of Bali Diffusion 2” Glass Essence Blinds are exciting and different from anything that’s been created before in the window blinds market. The stained glass Craft, Harvest and Plum Mist are my personal favorites, but I also like the Scroll Wrought Iron and the Flare White Wave finishes.

The Bali Diffusion Blinds can come with different types of tilt control: the remote control tilt system which is called ControlMate, the standard cord tilt with clear tassels, the clear plastic wand tilt or the chrome tilt. The double-slat valance is clean and simple and doesn’t place unnecessary burden on the eye of the viewer.

As of the special shapes suitability, Bali Diffusion Blinds can be customized to fit bay or corner windows. If you have wide windows, you can have multiple blinds on a single headrail. In case you need to fit your blinds around objects such as window cranks, air conditioners or special architectural elements, you can have cut-outs operated, for a perfect fit. For narrow openings, you can order sidelight blinds.
